More Nebraska

The other part of the trip to Nebraska was to meet some of Mike's family.
They threw a party for us on Friday and invited a lot of family. Some still live out on the farms in Auburn, but others have moved to Omaha. Also, Mike's Grandmother Darling isn't doing very well, and she's in an "apartment" and wants to go home. Grandpa Joe calls the nursing home her apartment so she'll feel more at home.
Look at this original Frigidaire stove.
It's ancient! There was also a gas stove in the basement that looked to be about 50 years old as well. But it fit right in with this antique bumper pool table.

Overall, it was a very nice break from real estate. I still checked emails and phone messages, but for the most part, this is probably only the second time in 6 years that I didn't worry about real estate for a couple of days. I'm not sure about the 9 hour trip again, but I'm sure we'll go again.
